Sunflower honey – ingredients Sunflower honey consists of water, glucose, fructore and other monosaccharides, enzymes, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, bioelements and volatile compounds. The vitamin content depends on additional ingerdients of the honey – the pollen and royal jelly. The acidity of sunflower honey is high.Sunflower honey – usage Sunflower honey helps in treatment of conditions of the circulatory system, liver and upper respiratory system. It’s great used to combat a cold. This honey is also very efficient in healing skin conditions. What is more, it has a positive impact on the liver and intestines and lowers the level of bad cholesterol. It can be used in cardiovascular diseases. It lowers blood pressure, boosts the levels of oxygen in the heart and helps preventing the Alzheimer’s disease. It also regulates the levels of potassium. Another great feature of this honey is its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action. Sunflower honey can be used in periods of general exhaustion and in anaemia.
