What is Propolis Tincture Extract?

Here’s how propolis tincture is made: bees create propolis by collecting resin from pine and other coniferous trees. They combine the resin along with pollen and wax flakes and bring it back to the hive. They utilise the gluey substance to create panels, cover gaps and fill in the holes inside the hive. The gluey resin from trees and plants safeguards subtle buds from infection, pests and weather. The ancient Greeks referred to the bee glue as ‘propolis’, which means ‘in front of the city’ as they learnt it safeguards the hive from any bacteria.
